I said a few months ago something about wondering if maybe Nvidia hasn't given us a driver since 182.50 that works well with TH2Go, because they plan to offer a solution via their cards.
Only speculation on my part thought. However, now that ATI has done it, you can bet NV's offering will soon follow.

I had a strong feeling this would be coming. If I had of known it would be this soon after my getting TH2Go,,,, I would have waited for it before I bought anything.

Lovely! Just absolutely lovely! Had my TH2Go for barely a few months and its being replaced :P oh well.. Hopefully this new setup is going to be glorious! Going to look at getting me 2x 5870X2 this time.

Just gotta decide if its time to jump on a i7 :P

The problems that comes with SLI and CF no thanx to play on 6 monitors then. Half the games will fucking reject the SLI mode or CF so you end up turning the shit of.

So that means sometimes 3 monitors only or 6 if you lucky hehe. Roll the dice well fuck me to be honest how hard can it be to engineer something full proof :D

btw

SLI have never ever worked as intended lol now just that is a huge fucking joke :P

yeah, the more I think about it, I might be glad I got TH2Go.
Most likely there will be bugs in this new tech for a while. Not wishing them bad luck or anything, but I feel advancements in the future will improve it's compatibility, etc.
Sometimes getting in on the ground floor with a new technology is rocky.
I hope this is not the case for those that try it. And I have no way of telling just how good or how troublsome this may or may not be.

I'll probably hold out until my next build,,,, but we'll see.

nvidia already has something but has limited it to their quadroplex stuff, they could just port it over to the high end GT300's or something.

SLI Matrix Mode is only up to 4 displays, so nVidia is going to have to whip up something to closer match EyeFinity to be competitive. My current goal is 5 screen portrait.

Dead Space, Dirt 2 and Left4Dead playable. WoW VERY playable at 80+fps at 7680x3200.

And that´s with only one gpu.

To many ass hats over there. People with experience playing on multi displays is better than listening to them.

Eventually someone looked at all of the outputs and realized that without too much effort you could drive six displays off of a single card - you just needed more display engines on the chip. AMD's DX11 GPU family does just that.

Well that is insane tho so no need for 2 cards then :P But still 6 monitors playing MMO man that shit looks bad. :) 9 monitors it is then :P
