holy mother of christ! this smacks matrox to bits!!!!! 24 million pixels o_0 but wth does this mean "Suporting six monitors with a single graphics card will require a specialized board, since most don't ship with six DisplayPort connectors across the back." anyone thinking of 6 monitors for gaming is a nut. Whaayyy to much bezel it would be soo annoying. is the 5870 coming out spet 24th? worldwide? and any confirmed prices? |

O M G !!! it seems first true AMD/ATI GPU is a monster I wonder if the GPU will be monster sized or else what kind of revolutionary concept allows them to pull that one off ... |

Apparently it's physically long, I just hope it ain't gonna start a 11inch trend or something, it's enough that 10in ultras don't fit most cases I look at. |

anyone thinking of 6 monitors for gaming is a nut. Whaayyy to much bezel it would be soo annoying. I'm already in the process of figuring out what I need to do to use 5x 24" portrait rotated 6000x1920. I'll be doing that as soon as I confirm it's possible. |

anyone thinking of 6 monitors for gaming is a nut. Whaayyy to much bezel it would be soo annoying. Awesome for mmorpgs, and you can use it too with ´only´ 3x30" monitores. I got 40fps with Dead Space with SoftTh. How many could I get with 2x5870x2?, my speculation is maybe 150-200 fps at 7680x1600, and making playable many games that just now they aren´t I'm already in the process of figuring out what I need to do to use 5x 24" portrait rotated 6000x1920. I'll be doing that as soon as I confirm it's possible Maybe too much bezels, maybe 3x 24" works better, because you have a widescreen monitor at center |

Yea, I can't handle the bezels in the middle. I'd like 3x30". That may be price prohibitive, but 3x24" would be doable. |

I've got myself a 3x 24" setup, I bought two additional monitors (had only one before) about 2 weeks ago in anticipation of this ATI EyeFinity (plus I got a really good deal on the monitors). I can't wait for the HD 5870 to come out. |

just put my triplehead up for sale to get together the rest of the cash i need for a 5870 2GB ;) What sucks about this is it's gonna look like a fire sale on ebay for TH2G. I'm pessimistic on what I'll be able to get for my stuff. |

dont think so, its in really good shape and i still have all packaging and stuff, so i put it up on amazon and the cheapest one there starts at about almost 270 at the moment - more expensive then back when i bought it; so i should be able to make low to no loss at all |
