I have x3 22" Samsung bw monitors runing native 1680x1050

Windows 7

Monitor set up: [8800gt]-[5870]-[5870] all DVI.

On start up 90% of the time the right montitor starts at 800x600.

When going into Catalyst or Screen Resolution it shows that the monitor is running 1680x1050

Trying to use Catalyst to fix it doesn't work.

I have to use Windows Screen Resolution.
Change the res down to and save.
The set the res back to 1680x1050

Has any one else experienced this or seen post by others that have ?????

I had mine get messed up once like that when going between profiles, I had to change the monitor resolution and then change it again and log off to fix it.

Are you saying you have 2 video cards and one of the monitors is hooked to the Nvidia card?

I was under the impression (official ati statement) that eyefinity only works if you have all the monitors hooked ot a single eyefinity capable display card.

At any rate I imagine having a Nvida card in the mix is probably a good reason to have issues and I wouldnt expect it to work with eyefinity.

Maybe Eyefinity was the wrong forum.
But it is a 5870 running more than one monitor.

I would remove the 8800Gt but I haven't gotten around to getting the Displayport > DVI adaptor yet.

Two e-mails to Dell AU asking if they could get get it in-stock resulted in no answer. (i did get the auto response so I know they got it) I even provided them the part number and link to the US store page for it

Its my only experience with Dell customer service and I have to say.
Dell customer service sucks.

The only place that will send them to Australia charge almost as much as the card to ship it here. Thats just far to rude for me to swollow.

I was thinking about plugging in a 19" 2ms monitor into the 8800gt one I had the 5870 runnng all 3. But it looks like that might be a very anoying option now.
