hi gang. recent eyefinity disciple and lovin it :rockout

Have a newb question though...

I have a 3 monitor setup. I can setup a display group through the catalyst software, which spans all 3 monitors which is working awesome for gaming...

but how can I disable the profile to just get back to three separate displays in windows when i'm done gaming? ie I don't like the single huge display for surfing the web etc...

must be missing something obvious, but can I just turn eyefinity on and off?!?!?

if it matters I am running win 7 64 bit....

Use the Hotkey Manager in Catalyst Control Center.

With your display set to just one monitor at your chosen resolution (or three duplicated monitors), save a hotkey combination (for instance, ALT+1).
Then, when in Eyefinity, simply hold down ALT and hit the 1 key, and you'll revert to your one-screen, or three-screen duplicated screen setup automatically.

You can do the same to get into Eyefinity mode (save as ALT+3), although you may have to hit ALT+3 three times to get it to work.

thanks for the response. I got this working just fine but now am having a different problem.. I setup Alt+F12 for eyefinity, and Alt+F11 for my normal settings (1 main screen with extensions on right and left). I can switch to eyefinity (have to hit Alt F12 3 times as you noted) and then can switch back to normal just fine, etc. works great UNTIL I restart... then I can switch to my normal, but when I try to switch back to eyefinity (Alt F12) I can hit it once, but then when I try to hit it the second and third times, nothing happens... like on a fresh setup I can switch back and forth it works fine except eyefinity needs 3 presses, but after restart can't do 3 presses, the hot key is unresponsive. also, tried choosing my eyefinity profile from the menu 3 times but can't do that either...

Thoughts? Yeah, don't feel like The Lone Ranger.
Happens to me, too - probably everyone.

Just re-create the Group (Desktops & Displays) and you're good. Hotkeys still work.
Will be fixed.....
