of course
but I live in EU/PL so stuff cost more usually over there than US

Code:

   x4 925 box
   asrock 890gx e3
   2x2gb elpida 1066 cl7 (work 1333/1600)
   320gb hdd
   750W chieftec 14c
hd5870 + hd5770 + hd5450  (2xhd5450 will be enough but I exchange some my no need stuff for 5770 and I made very good deal)
   8x226BW + 1x my brother's ASUS but i bought already 9th 226BW and one 223BW

anyway I calculated all now and I spent about 900-950eur for whole PC rig of course with monitors. (mobo was free from asrock, but simple 790fx DFI DK will be enough nad cost only 60-70 for used one)
I can mention this wasn't real buying/shopping of stuff. I was hunting for extreme bargains till january first (then I bought first monitor and didnt except if I buy more than 3 monitors ever LOL  )
also I can sell this all stuff for more than 900eur without any problem

one more thing  , I sold 5870 for 300eur , and PROBABLY I bought 5870 e6 for 350 so 5x2 setup will be done on first week of July I hope

I, too, look for bargains. For example, I rarely ever buy games at first release and wait a week or two for someone to run a sale.

As for the three monitors I have: All three are ViewSonic VX2433wm models. I got two of them for $200 each and the third one for $180. All were at sale prices as they usually run around $240 - $250 locally at the shops.

My DP->VGA Monster adapter cost $50 and is working perfectly. I have a very rare occasion where there is a signal loss when coming out of sleep. But, doing a quick CTRL-ALT-DEL and then Cancel brings the display right back.

O_O
my three adapter cost 45$ total, directly from China, and funny is that I read about flickering problems, but I never had them

My Monoprice ones were $20 each, I haven't had any problems with them. I'd say if it bothers you, go and buy one of those.

It happens so rarely...and never in a game....so it's no bother at all. I'll keep the one I have. ;)
