Hello all,
This is my first post, and I am all new to my eyefinity system. I already have a problem...
I have my setup as such:
1920x1080(16/9) + 1920x1200(16/10) + 1920x1080(16/9)

I use my 1920x1200 24" as my main monitor.
However, whenever I switch eyefinity on, because the resolution is lowered to 1080, my 24" upscales the picture to fit the screen.
Now, when eyefinity is disabled, I can easily go in CCC, use GPU scaling and maintain the aspect ratio.
However, whenever eyefinity is on, CCC forgets my previous settings and upscales anyway.

I would like to know if it's possible, or if anyone had found a fix yet to this issue. I would much rather play with an original 16/9 and have black stripes on my 24" (16/10) than have this ugly distorted picture.

The same question had been addressed here a while ago, with no positive response... :

I would very much appreciate any help!
Cheers all :)

What is the model of the 16:10? It may have a scaler built-in.

Well the non-PLUS version manual states that it has Wide and Auto settings for the image scaling. If that doesn't work, I believe you can change that 24" to be recognized as a 1920x1080 by doing an EIED (sp?)edit. I'm not all all familiar with the process, as I ahvne;t had the need to try it, but apparently there have bee good results.

But i feel your pain; I've tried to get my 3x 16:10 displays to draw 3x 16:9 resolutions with proper scaling, but the scaling qs never correct. and it wasn;t worth it for me to try the EIDE edit.:/

Identical displays would work, too :) Saves much fuss....

Well unfortunately the way eyefinity works is by using the same resolution accross each monitor, but it's kinda a trick, because it maybe rendering 1080p for the middle monitor, but it's sending it a scaled picture up to it's native res (1200p in this case). So the only way to get it to look "correct" is to have a monitor that you can pick the aspect ratio it shows in. Auto wont work.
