i just buy 3 23" monitor and a 6970 radeon card :o
My monitor have : vga,dvi and hdmi port
my graphic card have :
2x Mini DisplayPort, 2x DVI Female, 1 HDMI Female port

My question :
Will i be able to plug 2 screen on dvi and the 3rd on the Hdmi one to use eyefinity?
Or must i buy an hdmi->mini display port converter?

I have a vga to display port converter bought sometime ago but damn it !

1dvi
1 on the minidp

for the minidisplay port may a minidp->hdmi converter a good things?

You need to use a mini-DP port for Eyefinity. So yes, you'll need another adapter.

I received yesterday my screens and my graphic card.
a friend gave me a dvi=>display port adpater.
I've first connect only my center monitor on the display port : It worked great.
So i decided to plug the third one on hdmi and the other one on dvi port.
All my screens are detected but when i want to creatre a group for eyefinity, it refuse to activate all the three screen at the same time, it tell me that i have to disable one.
I guess that's due to the fact that my adapter is passive, but as it have a cost i prefer to ask first.

Why not do DVI/Mini-DP/DVI? That's what I've been using and it works fine. Well, using the mini-DP to DP.

Well because my left screen's dvi cable is too short to reach my computer :hide

So i bought a long hdmi cable yesterday to resolve that.
I'll try this evening two dvi+1dp but i'm not sure how i'll manage to plug everything without running out of cable lengh.

Ah that's too bad.

Which is why all my cables are 3-5m long.
