So I was thinking about buying some new video cards.
Started off wanting to buy 6990. Nope sold out.
Then I thought maybe let's buy 6970x2. Nope, sold out or it's a ridiculous >400 price. No thanks, the MSRP is $369
I even toyed with the idea of 6950s, but since I missed the unlockable 6950s by about half a year, I'd rather not.
Anyone been in a similar situation and what have you done? I'd rather not pay the ripoff prices either.
Also does anyone know if any of the AMD card manufacturers have advance RMA? eVGA is the only one I found, but they're Nvidia only :(. I ask because my current card right now is exhibiting all sorts of problems, but sending it into RMA is just 100% unreasonable in this day and age. I wouldn't even be able to use my PC..
