My goal was! playing battlefield 3 (5040x1050) ..

I can not play in Eyefinity (Croosfire trifire or enable).

I tested these connections:
(2) monitors on DVI card, (1) mini-DP to DVI and nothing.
(2) monitors the mini-DP to DVI, (1) in dvi and nothing.
(1) monitor on the HDMI to DVI, (1) the mini-DP to DVI and (1) DVI and nothing!

Drivers tested:
11:10 - nothing
11.11 - Eyefinity croosfire work on, but I can not play (micro-sturtering)
11:12 - nothing
12.1> 12.4 - Last time I tried, BSOD when starting windows!
12.6b> nothing ....

My Hardware:
I changed recently because of the trifire: x6 1090T (Crooshair V) to:
X79A-GD45 (i7-3820)
3xR6970 Lighting
8GB RAM

I have to turn the Eyefinity:
(2) adapters Apple mini dp to dvi (120hz)
(1) hdmi to dvi adapter (60hz)

what do I do? burn everything?
Please help me.
I lost hope.

thanks..

Okay, kinda don't understand your post.

Can you even enable eyefinity? Like can you make a display group and have a spanned desktop?

If not, are all your monitors connected to ONE video card (preferably the top or bottom)?

If not, do so. If you need adapters (say your monitors don't have DisplayPort), you're going to need to buy one of the following:
--Active MiniDP->SL-DVI Adapter (Good up to 1920x1200@60Hz) [About $30]
--Active MiniDP->DL-DVI Adapter (Good up to 2560x1600@60Hz or 1920x1200@120Hz) [About $60-$120]
--MiniDP->VGA Adapter (Good up to 1920x1200@60Hz) [About $] [About $15-$30]
Monoprice.com is your friend for all things adapters and cables.

Next you're going to want to go in CCC and Duplicate all the monitors you want to use in the eyefinity group.
After that, setup eyefinity. Then Setup Crossfire.
Also, I recommend one of the 12.6 betas as they have improvements in crossfire.

If you cant crossfire, check the crossfire bridges, they work or they don't. You need two for 3 cards.

What monitors are you using and what power supply do you have?

With my old 5870 (croosfire), worked in Eyefinity at 120hz.
6970 fail .. croosfire .. trifire ... old driver just run 11:11, but extreme micro-stutter .. :/

I do not know .. I sell two and keep one .. I'm giving up high-end pc ..

thanks..
