I recently purchased a 2nd Radeon 6970 and an Active Display Port adapter.

CCC seems to behave weird when i turn on Eyefinity 3x1 and Crossfire at the same time.

1. Everytime i "enable" Eyefinity - the resolution is 1980x1080, but the slider can go all the way up to 5760x1080 - at that point the desktop spans all 3 monitors

2. CCC doesnt think its in Eyefinity mode when it is - the option to "Renable Eyefinity Group" is present - clicking it doesnt do anything - i dont have the options to mess around with Bezel Compensation, etc or whatever the options are under Eyefiniy

3. When CCC does recognize that im Eyefinity mode - i want to set the taskbar to the middle screen, the hit the optin, click apply and the screen flickers then the taskbar goes back to spanning all 3 screens (i just want the middle screen to hold the taskbar)

4. Hitting Windows + P to switch between Duplicate and Extended modes screws up monitors..sometimes one gets disabled

5. Is it possible to have an Eyefinity group (3x1) and an Extended display - in my case a 720p HDTV (where i would output videos and such)

Using 12.2 Preview drivers.
3x1920x1080 Asus 24" Monitors
1x720p Panasonic HDTV

Right now all connections are on the "Top" GPU1 Radeon 6970 connected via Crossfire
1 DVI
1 HDMI
1 miniDP -> DVI (Active)
and
1 miniDP -> HDMI (Passive - to my 720p HDTV)
When in crossfire mode, i cannot enable the HDTV - is it possible to connect the HDTV to GPU2?

Can i use 2xDVI + 1 DP (Active) for Eyefinity?

Lots of problems trying to get it to work last night Should use a special 3rd party app to do a complete driver uninstall (DriveSweeper?)

Nope you cannot connect it to 2nd gpu! But wait... in crossfire it doesn't work! So running 4 Screens like that in this configuration worked on single GPU ? -.o

You can use 2x DVI (but maximal 1920x1080) but then HDMI won't work anymore!

Thanks - i realize that to get anymore than 2 screens going ill need more Active Adapters (i wont be getting a 2nd active adapter)..so basically if i understand everything correctly i can

*crossfire enabled*
1) 3x1 Eyefinity + 0 Extended HDTV
or
*crossfire disabled*
2) 3x1 Extended + 1 Extended HDTV

I will have to mess around with Profiles to quickly switch between the 2 setups, I will have my HDTV connected to GPU2 and activate it

This doesnt explain the weird behavior - i guess ill have to use driversweeper and reinstall 12.2 and grab the newest CAP profiles
