I can get 5040x1050 in Directx9 in Lord of the rings online for example no problem, but when I switch to Directx10 mode, no chance. Single screen only...

Has anyone else suffered this glitch and is it a directx 10 problem with the latest Matrox software?

I use Vista Home Premium (32bit)

I take it you're trying both options in Vista, and not dual-booting...

Yeah, thats the weird thing. Both options in Vista. I can't understand it. I mean I don't mind playing in directx9 mode, it just seems strange that Directx10 doesn't work in triple screen, and I was wondering if it is an issue in all directx10 games with this resolution?

edit: Ok now Bioshock wont work in Vista32 either, yet it does in XP? What gives here?

I can GET that resolution in LOTRO with DX10 but it's useless as the mouse isn't where it appears on your screen. I found that if you click the mouse a couple inches to the right of where you want to click you can often get it to click the right thing, but switching back to DX9 makes it work perfectly.

I'm grateful to you for posting that it worked in DX9 as it was bothering me that I couldn't make it work. Though it doesn't drop to single screen for me, so that's different from your experience.

It does work in a Window stretched to the right resolution, too.

Thats exactly the problem I was having (with the mouse to the right) in DX10. Now it just doesn't work at all in 5040x1050. I have to set it to single screen to have a viewable dx10 experience. Bioshock also doesn't work in dx10 (but it works in dx9).

I could do with an answer from anyone who has got 5040x1050 to work in any dx10 game in Vista32. Preferably a game that has both DX9 and DX10 options available.

Does this thing work in games in vista??

I just tried Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts and 5040x1050 didn't even show up as a choice, so that's my other DX10 game. Sorry I wasn't more help.

Thanks for the reply!

So I think it's safe to assume 5040x1050 doesn't work in directx10.

That really really sucks...
