Hello,
perhaps this is a stupid question

I'm not a triple head user, and don't intend on becoming one in the near future due to cost/income. Still I was wondering something so I thought I got to ask that to you guys.

What about putting all the 1680x1050 screens in portrait mode for TH ?
that way instead of 5040x1050 you could get 3150x1680

while ultra wide resolution is nice, a bit more height could be nice too ?

thoughts ? doable or not ?

Thanks.

I know it's doable with SoftTH (three screens on two video cards), but I don't think the TripleHead2Go supports that mode...

TH2G doesn't work like that. It rotates the whole virtual display, not the 3 individual.

Personally, I'd love to be able to have my TH2G work rotated displays, but unless someone hacks it, no way possible.

BTW, you do realize what a "rhetorical question" is, right? Your questions are not rhetorical.

I'm ignorant of theses things so forgive me. If I have 3 x16:10 monitors and turn them 90degrees side by side then what is the resulting aspect ratio?

In some ways it looks like it could be more engageing but if it's an aspect that games don't support then what's the point.

easy

16:10 monitors is 16 wide : 10 height
if you put it in portrait mode it gives 10 wide : 16 height or 10:16 aspect ratio for a single screen

then put them side by side which means 3x more wide so 30:16 (which can be simplified to 15:8)

And... games don't support 48:10 aspect ratio either (3x 16:10) in most cases...
