Uninstalling drivers didn't help, had to use PowerStrip and its fixed now... is there even any reason to upgrade? I doubt they improved performance on the cards. And the new CCC GUI is terrible.

Maby no performance improvement but they always fix some errors and bugs for some new games and since ati drivers can have some bugs I always work with the latest drivers. I never had broblems to uninstall the drivers. Do you have the install maneger from ati that comes with the driver?
