Hi all,
I've had 5040x1050 working in ETQW pretty well for a few months. Since getting MW2 and playing with a centered HUD thanks to http://imk.cx/pc/widescreenfixer/, I'm getting beginning to get fed up with having the HUD elements at the edges of the display in ETQW. I was getting used to it before but now MW2 spoils it every time I switch games. These are the cvars i use for triplemon in Quake;
Code:
r_customwidth 5040;
   r_customheight 1050;
   r_aspectRatio -1;
   r_customAspectRatioV 10;
   r_customAspectRatioH 48;
   r_mode -1;

Does anyone have a clue how I can move the HUD to the center screen? I have reviewed all of the cvars and dont think there are any that will do it :(

Cheers...

I looked into this morning and really couldn't find away around it. I talked with a guy from Splash Damage and he explained it to me a bit, so if I did find a way to do it, it won't be easy.

However, I did suggest that he should take this into consideration for Brink. :)

Thanks for looking into it Dopefish! Disappointing that it cant be easily modified but c'est la vie...
I would be over the moon if Brink supported 5040x1050 well since this game looks set to consume a vast part of the next few years of my life :/
