Hi All,

Have the following spec

8800GTX
Triple head 2go digital
3 x 1680 x 1050
Latest nvidia drivers & matrox software
Quad 2.66Ghz
6GB Ram

If I run FSX in virtual cockpit view everytime I hit a new button the screen goes blank for a second as if its loading then returns, has anyone seen this or knows why its happening? What have i done wrong as no-one else appears to have this issue?

If I hit too many buttons it crashes and says its no memory left?

movie link here to see it happening http://www.absimulation.co.uk/images/TH2GFSX.AVI

You tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CSgisqJvmA

Thanks in advance :)

Alex

Hi and welcome to the forums.

Have you tried turning off vsync?
If it is on, try truning it off in the NV control panel.
It fixed that issue for me.

Have not tried that but will when i get home :) thanks for the welcome. Its an issue we must fix because our simulators have this set up. Previous sims used FS2004 with non wide screen on XP with no issues.

Hi All,

Well I have now resolved the problem, as I did a number of things I cant say which of these resolved the issue. However I am acheiving 25-60 fos also with good detail.

What did I do?

- Un-installed FSX and all of its compoments
- Cleaned my registry and de-fragged using CCleaner and Auslogics free tools
- Forced of VSync via Nvidia panel
- Switch Nvidia global settings to single monitor mode (Rookies mistake on my part!!)
- Re-visited and old tweak guide http://www.highflightsimulations.com/site/index.php
- Run FSX in WINDOW MODE
- Expand the screen as far as I could

Am glad I had the issues because it forced me to sort my machine out and re-visit the FSX tweaks and they catagorically work :) highly recommed, only use what you need though there are some I did not use.

Anyway hope this helps someone.

Many Thanks
Alex

So, I guess it is still doing it in Full Screen mode?
I don't know what might be causing that, as mine runs in FS mode fine now.
I don't use nHancer though. Simply turing off vsync was all I needed to do.

Anyway, glad you got it working. FSX is simply wonderful in triscreen.
It was the first thing I tried when I got my TH2Go unit hooked up. I still recall how I actually said, out loud, 'oh my god' when I saw it in 3d. That was the default flight of the ultralight over Friday harbor. The thrill is still there everytime I launch the game.

Happy flying :)

Yes got it working however still get that pesci think cursor if I select main panel, even after the tweak suggested in a post somewhere. Got some interesting results with Sol7 and removing the stretched image either side. Not as much FOV but it kinda worked.
