I'm new to posting here, been lurking for a bit, and tried searching on the model number of my displays (206BW) and they dont come up in the Surround Gaming section of the forum.

I purchased the 3 displays and stand before I even heard of the Digital TH2G, so I was quite stoked to hear about what it could do.

Then I was dismayed that it could not support the max native resolution of my displays (1680x1050).

Then I was stoked when I heard news of the upgraded firmware for widescreens!

But lately, I have been a worried because apparently my displays can not run 1680x1050 @ 57hz.

So it's been a roller coaster :(

The manual for my displays say it only runs at 60hz at 1680x1050

I have tried to force the displays to 57hz or 56hz(which one should I be doing?) via registry hacks and the RefreshLock program, but I have had no luck and I am not sure I am doing it correctly.

I have built all my computers(and maintained countless others for family), except for a Mac G4 and a laptop, so I think I know what I am doing.

I dont own a TH2G yet, but santa may be bringing it to me, since its been on my list ever since hearing about it. I dont even have a video card to even push it at all right now, but next year I will be building a rig for it(see my sig). Right now I am running 2 video cards, one running the 2 side displays, and the other running the center.

Will I be forced to run a lower resolution that the Digital TH2G and my monitors will both be happy with?

Does anyone have any expeirence with the Samsung 206BWs and a TH2G?

Sorry for the long winded post! Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

If you could throw in an nVidia card it would be much easier to determine this.

Hmm, IIRC, my last nVidia card I had I think I was getting major texture coruption issues. I will have to see If I have one somewhere in my piles of parts.

I take it nVidia cards are easier to force to a different refresh rate?

I read in another post that I might be able to force a refresh rate w/Powerstrip software for my ATI card?
