I've installed my Triplehead2go for a few days now, but it seems that nearly every time I launch a "new" game (a game that I have not played in 5040x1050), it minimizes to the task bar.
The only thing I can do to remedy it is to change the cfg file for the game to run in 5040x1050 at 59 Hertz. But what if the cfg file for the game is encrypted or not available? Case in point, I cannot run GTA 4 at the moment. It minimizes every time I launch it, and even if I alt-tab into it, it minimizes back to Start Menu. Has anyone else had an issue like this with Th2Go?
I've had this issue. Some others have to. Games do this "especially on win7 and vista" when you give the triplehead a res it dosn't like. You need to configure it first, before using the triplehead.
Base Method:
1. Unhook 1 monitor and connect it to the secondary port on your card.
2. Make the Single monitor primary.
3. Open the Game.
4. Change the Resolution to something like 640x480 or 1280x1024.
5. Close Game.
6. Rehook the single monitor to the triplehead2go.
7. Make the Triplehead2go the primary monitor (automatic generally)
8. Start up the game.
9. Configure the game for triplehead resolutions. (Remember FOV)
10. Play the game.
Alternate Method: (used if game can be configured outside of game)
1. Open the Config File for the game.
2. Setup resolution and FOV.
3. Save File
4. Make Config file read only.
5. Play game.
