I posted a while back on the TH2Go board about how Matrox should add support for 1600x900. But Now it seems more beneficial to add to that.

They should Add support for Variable Resolutions that are within the boundaries of Duel-Link DVI and VGA. There can be setups that have extremely odd resolutions, or maybe you are trying to improve framerates, etc, etc. Being able to setup a custom res, as long as they're all the same res across the board should be added.

Furthermore, Just for the sheer proof of concept, alow for some scaling through the TH2Go. Even if the resolution is a 4:3 res, if you8 add the correct FOV for a triplehead res and stretch it out, it will look "correct". Fuzzy? yes, but Correct. This will also allow other devices like Videogame consoles to take advantage of the TH2Go.

I've sent an email to Matrox regarding this.

Well this is what I got:

"At the present time, there are no plans to add more resolutions to our box unless our demand increases for a specific resolution support.

Best Regards,
Emanuele"

Sounds like the classic chicken and egg scenario. Noone is going to intentionally buy screens that aren't supported resolution for TH2G, yet those screen resolutions should work, because the box has the bandwidth to allow it.
