Post subject:  Installation ended prematurely because of an error?

I am trying to install the latest version of PowerDesk and every time I try to install it, I keep getting a "Installation ended prematurely because of an error?"

I have the following specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Intel E8400 @ 4GHz
4GB DDR2 RAM
nVidia GTX 280 on 195.81 BETA
TH2Go Digital with firmware 2.03.040
(3) Dell 24" widescreen monitors

Can anyone please tell me why I can't install Powerdesk?

Thanks!

I have the same problem.
I have windows 7 Ultimate 32bit and I cannot install matrox drivers 2.05, 2.06, and 2.07

I can only install 2.1 (the one that comes with the CD) without problems

Matrox is with latest Firmware and table installed

I have nvidia 9800GT with latest drivers installed 258.96

I have read the posted thread but couldn't find info about the
"Installation ended prematurely because of an error"

Any help is welcomed.

Yes. the answer was found in some forums and it was the following
MSIEXEC.EXE /i PDESK.msi /qr+

this makes the installation silent and does not stop at the error.

My current status is 3 20" monitors ( 1x samsung T200HD and 2x samsung 2043nw)
Unfortunately the 2043nw is only VGA (using adaptors) and it supports 1680x1050 as single monitor (or the two of them as 2x1680x1050) when I'm trying to use 3x1680x1050 the 2 monitors work bad (since vga)

Martox has informed me :
"In your case the monitors are the problem since the 5040x1050 resolution is running at 59Hz and not optimum 60HZ and this is why there is a shift in the signal.
For running the highest resolution setting you should use DVI connection to the monitors to minimize problems relating to the lowered refresh rate.
Unfortunately there is no fix for your current setup at that resolution."

I will try to use 2 monitors 2x1680x1050 with triplehead2 go and the third monitor connected to the second dvi o my nVidia card.
