Post subject:  Dual-projector 3D Vision Surround from one card?

I just built an mATX rig with a GTX470, and I'm interested in both 3D Vision and surround gaming, but I don't want to add another card and have to also upgrade my power supply and cooling. I don't know if NV cards even allow spanning across 2 displays, but if so, then would it also be possible to connect 2 projectors to 1 card and have 3D Vision Surround?

Also, would DLP Link have proper syncing across 2 projectors, or would you have to use NV's 3D Vision kit?

I was just listening to the PC Perspective podcast, where they mentioned that nVidia Surround doesn't support only 2 displays, but NV says it could be easily added if there's a demand for it. So, please guys, demand it!

I can confirm that 3DVS is limited to only three-displays. On the nVidia side of things, 2 display would require Matrox DH2G Digital use.

our MV103_HDVE PRO can support 3072X768 120HZ or 2048X768 120HZ , you can connect two/three 3D projectors

Are you saying that this is compatible with 3 projectors running 3D mode with something like Nvidia 3D Vision Surround???

In the case of two-display MV103 use it would be 3D Vision, not 3D Vision Surround you'd be using. No idea if the MV103 can do 2048x768 and lock 120hz. That's a question best answered by MViewTech, but if it can it has definite advantage over the Matrox line and nVidia 3DVS.

Hi,
Yes,
Nvidia Card can detect 3072X768 120HZ resolution,Our device output 3 120HZ projector. when you set up the 3D wizard, you select "CRT monitor" to creat your 3D vision Surround.

Hello Mviewtech, I am also very interested in a 2 - projector setup. Have you actually tested the functionality with nvidia 3d vision compatible projectors and with the glasses? I mean, does it really work in 3D?
For what I've seen on the internet so far, this would be the only solution to use 2 projectors with 3D, as Nvidia is just too ignorant to simply add an option for 2 monitors to 3DVS!

I also have a question for eventually ordering a MV103 Pro:
As I understood the offers on dhgate.com, I have to specify what resolution I want? Or can I change the resolution by software? I need 2x1024x768 at 120Hz, so 2048x768 at 120 Hz. I did not find a corresponding offer there. How do I proceed, and is there a possibility to get a refund if the 3D does not work.

Thank you very much & brgds. Chris

I'm also not finding documentation that says this device supports 120hz. mviewtech, can you point to a reference that states this?

Hi,
our company have tested the 2X1024X768 120Hz or 3X1024X768 120Hz for Nvidia 3D vision.
we need to order 10 unit at least by Dhgate.

but we will sell one unit for Widescreengamingforum user.
if you can't get Nvidia 3D vision with our MV103-HDVE Pro. We will refund your payment by paypal.
