While a tad annoying, i just don't see the problem with grass and trees disappearing.
Makes it a whole lot easier to spot loot atleast :P

They're working hard on DA2 so I can't see them spending the time to fix this now. I'm kinda used to it after spending nearly 300 hours on this game!

I need to try this on my nVidia Surround rig, see if this pop-in-out issue is EyeFinity only or whether it hits everything that has ultra-wide-aspect. :( Neck deep in other stuff at the minute, hopefully will get time in a few days.

So now that I finished Borderlands, is this a game you would recommend? I loved the loot collecting, character leveling up, and the huge variety of weapons in Borderlands (and the Claptrap DLC will be ordered!)...

If you want a half-decent fantasy RPG, this isn't a bad one. But I find myself returning to things like Planescape: Torment again and again... Bioware did better RPGs with the Infinity engine IMO.

I'm with you. Dragon Age is not half as good as Baldur's Gate or the great Planescape Torment. But Torment is just unique. Concerning Dragon Age in Eyefinity I'm a bit sad. Bioware and ATI too promote this game as perfect Eyefinity-game and it really isn't.

First the problem with disappearing landscape, then the cutscenes which only show the middle screen and blacks out the two others. A real Eyefinty-Game should use all three screens for the background in cutscenes. Then the HUD.
So what I can say is that games like Drakensang and GRID are much more comfortable in Eyefinity. Dragon Age wouldn't even run in EF without the latest patches. I used SofthTH a lot and now run ATI with Eyefinity. I might sell that and go for nvidia again. Perhaps with a GTX 560 SLI.

Finally the most annoying thing is, that my ATI produces green/red graphics flickering on the middle screen in Dragon Age Ultimate. That destroys all atmosphere. Has anyone an idea on this?

Still basically boycotting this. I have not played the game yet despite how much I want too.

Though a boycott means to not buy a game, I had already purchased it before I knew it did not have proper eyefinity support. Being that it was on the list of officially support games who know that would be a big lie.

All this time passed and they have never acknowledged the problem(s) or tried to fix them. Too busy making DLC for you to pay for, or the next game as it may be now.

Yeah. Same problem. I also have lots of graphical wonks on my DP monitor if I turn on AA at all. I run it at 5908x1080 and in any wooded area the trees and foiliage just go bananas. Not a deal-breaker, but awfully annoying at times. The Wending Wood area in Awakenings is particularly bad. (It did help me spot a statue I would have missed otherwise, though!)

Thats subjective imo, I loved how AC2 did the cut scenes as such.

Either way it has its flaws (alot of them) but still one of the best games of this decade imo.

Just curious, if you try running a faux surround resolution that matches your aspect ratio is the problem the same intensity?
