Haveing only 2 monitors was extremely annoying. You always look into that center bezel, that's actually the main reason I went triple. Haveing three screens, I usually work on the central screen while haveing all icons, widgets and the like on the left screen and email client, image browser or some firefox window on the right screen. I rarely expand windows over several screens unless I i.e. want to check photos taken with my 10MP dslr camera.
Of course I wouldn't mind haveing no bezels but I'm extremely happy I have a triple setup now so I ignore them and enjoy what I have.

In games I hardly notice them at all.

Regards,
Danny

My girlfriend rolled her eyes big time when I said I was getting a TH2Go.

After the TH2Go was installed and up and running I configured The Sims2 for her in triple screen. Her first reaction was that it did look a whole lot better, but as for game play she claimed she wasn't all that fussed about it and would be just as happy to run it in one screen only. A true sceptic!

Since then she brought the latest Sims2 expansion pak. After installing that it was no longer in triple screen, but back to 1280x1024. After a few minutes of playing like that she closed the game down and said it was simply awfull, "unplayable" I believe she said. She then begged me to get it running in triple screen.

Even this most sceptical person now conceedes that there's no way she's ever going back to single screen.

In fact, I now find that getting her off other games (like Oblivion) is now nearly impossible. Her interest in games she used to only play periodically has massively increased.

So, do the bars get in the way? After playing for a while you'll wonder what all the fuss is about these 'bars' that everyone's on about. More than likely you'll wonder "what bars?"

IMO (and hers now) the added experience, immersion and luxury that the triplehead affords far outweighs the bars issue.

In my experience the only drawback of TH2Go is that everyone else in your house will now want to play games, and you'll end up having to watch re-runs of M*A*S*H on telly while they play with your new toy...

Regards,

Mr Pibb.

The only thing I really would need are screens with really small bezel, e.g. the 7mm bezel of the NEC LCD1990FXp-BK, which unfortuantely is completely unsitable for games because its very slow response time.

So it should technically be possible and I think we will see such monitors in some time.
Also I think this monitors could be sold to normal users, too.

I bought three BenQ FP93GX+ and am basically satisfied with the bezel of ca. 14mm. That's o.k. and like most users I don't remeber it after some time playing, but every text going cross monitors (like in RPGs) they are a little annoying, of course.
