Hi All,
I've just got the Triple Head2Go Digital and am rinning 3x20" Widescreen monitors @ 5040x1050 on Win XP x64.

The gaming is great for games that support it, but if I come accross a game thats not supported in the "Surround Gaming Utility" can I not use widescreen gaming for that game? Or are there other ways?

I want too play good old counter strike (not source) in surround gaming.

Also, you know in UltraMon where if you put an application on a monitor, the taskbar button also moves too that monitor...is there anyway of doing this with this setup? I would imaging there is as the monitors are still splitt up with Desktop Divider.

Its just annoying to restore a minimised application to monitor 3 by having to move the mouse all the way too monitor 1 and back again.

I have lots of apps running all the time and am constantly flicking between them or I wouldnt mind. Would be nice too know if there's a way to section apps too each monitor with the taskbar button also.

ANy suggestions for both my questions? Thanks.

I had this same problem recently and still have it. I sort of fixed taskbar programs by making very wide quick launch toolbar on screen 1 so programs start on screen 2.

As for moving windows, I found winsplit revolution very good. You can specify lots of layouts on different keys and many layouts on one key. Default is CTRL+ALT+numpad#, I changed that to WIN+numpad#.

I also tried gridmove and autohotkey script windowpad, they are ok.

For launching programs I use launchy and objectdock.

I think you miss-understand what I mean....

Im not talking about arranging the windows in my display.

When I minimise an application on monitor 3, i would like the application to be minimised too the taskbar on monitor 3... rather than have to go to monitor 1 to maximise it again.

This gives 2 advantages.... you can switch between applications much faster and also you can group them on each monitor.

I would have said it wasn't possible as windows see's it as 1 desktop, but if you can maximise applications to each screen using Desktop Divider, why can't you sperate the taskbar buttons too each screen also?

UltraMon does this and it would be great to use but it doesnt work with this setup. It's designed for putting the taskbar on extended desktop.

Any idea's of software available too combat this?

Thanks.

I know what you meant and I too used ultramon before TH. I didnt find anything that would split up the taskbar into 3 parts. I found splitview but as far as I understand from their webpage it can only split the screen in 2 parts.

I just shared my solution to the TH desktop management and I would like to make it better.

I just unlock my taskbar and move the divider between the quick launch buttons and taskbar buttons to the edge of my middle monitor. Means at least all the taskbar buttons are in the centre so slightly less moving!

Thats a bloody good idea, thanks.

Obviously a common problem then.

Maybe someone could write a program for it?
