i was just wondering. the th2g is awesome, except i want to use 3 of my current monitors (24" widescreens) and i know i can sli my gfx card and get 3 screens but will that work with games as welll? or will that just make one monitor display games etc? if so is there any other solution that offers 5760x1200 resolution? and on a side note, is there anyone playing games with 2 screens and having a crosshair in the centre split across 2 screeens? feedback on that? thanks! |

You say you "know that you can sli and get 3 screens" but that isn't true... if you SLi you can only use one of the outputs on those cards! It's an unfortunate SLi limitation that hopefully nvidia will fix one day. There's a free program called SoftTH you can try. You'd have to have at least 2 non-SLi'd graphics cards (but one of them can be cheapo like the 8400GS). http://www.kegetys.net/SoftTH/ Someone got WoW running at 5760x1200. Just be aware that SoftTH doesn't work well with SLI anyway (and you'd need a third card): (Link) |
