Just an FYI, the 3D Vision Discover and actual 3D Vision (the $250 kit that requires 120Hz monitor) are very different things. My understanding is that the $250 kit is the real deal, and that is not possible with Th2Go because it does support 5040x1050 or 4320x900 at 120 Hz.

Anyone know where to get the Red/Blue glasses?

Since most places you might buy em usually end up like 4$ for 4 pairs + 8$ s&h, I ended up buying spykids3d for 9$ which has 4 pairs included, probably other 3d movies around that have em at same/cheaper prices then the rip off glasses sold.

True they're not the plastic / deluxe ones but they do the job considering red/blue gaming doesn't really last long once the novelty wears off.

Just because you can not have the real 3D Vision with triplehead I have counseled and accepted willingly the 3D Vision discover.

I'd like to check out the Discover.

I remember the old eDimensional ones from years ago. Always interested me, but I never bought a set.

I wonder if the new 3D Vision might work with Eyefinity?

3D Vision is an nVidia technology, so I doubt it will work with ATI's gpu.

Oh well, I guess 3D Vision is not an option for me either way.
Still I would love to see the Discover version.

All I'm saying is that your thread title is misleading. GeForce 3D Vision does not work with TripleHead. The 3D Vision "Discover" is not the "real deal", just so other people aren't confused when they come in this thread. I have not used the 3D Vision in person, but from the reviews I've read, it is much more "realistic" than the reb/blue glasses.

Yeah, I'm sure for the price it would have to be much nicer looking, or it wouldn't sell. I mean who would buy it, if they knew a set of really cheap 3d glasses would do the exact same thing.

Since I'm using TH2Go, no way I can use the 3D Vision, but I would like to see first hand (or should I say eye). I'm curious and really always have been. As cool as it is I probably wouldn't trade it for tri screens though, I don't believe.

But if I could get my hands on a set of the cheap Discover glasses, I would probably buy a game or two that works with them. I'm sure I would enjoy it, if my 3 monitors would look like (or close to) what a Viewmaster does. I could really get into that.

Hopefully sometime nVidia (or other) will release a set (maybe gfx card(s) included) that does Tri Screen 3D. I would be all over it ;)

If I was going to buy either a triplehead setup or the 3D Vision, it would be a tough choice. It's a shame we can't have both, BUT, I think we will in the future. The future will bring about some astounding things we only dream of today. The way video game hardware tech is advancing, hopefully it will not be that much further into the future.
