Hello,
A new patch has "arrived" for BFBC 2 ... 04.2010 ... after installing it my BFBC2 no longer wanted to work at 5040x1050.
Each time i started the game the resolution would go back to 1024x*** ... with the maximum resolution allowed being 4080x768.

After hours of trying i have found my / ( the Problem)

With the 197.45 Nvidia drivers my system works at 5040x1050 with a refresh rate of 59.453Hz.
It seems that the new Patch doesn't accept 59hz = 60Hz and so you have to change the value in the Settings.ini located in /documents/BFBC2


Here is the FIX ...

[WindowSettings]
Width=5040
Height=1050
Fullscreen=true
RefreshRate=59
Fov=90



Now it should work!
