Keep in mind I dont have a background in software dev, but would it be possible to create an application which is able to change the resolution of any directx9/10/11 application? Noticing that there are programs out there like DXWind which can run any fullscreen directx program in windowed mode, and adjust the resolution of that window (but not the actual application resolution), and there are specific fixes out there like the DSFix (Dark Souls) which uses d3d interception to change the actual game resolution, it seems to me that it may be possible?
