Hi, I'm thinking of buying new GPUs for my PC. Currently I have 2x GTX670 and i7-2600K @4.4 I was thinking on getting 2x GTX 980 and possibly on the future buy third 980, or should I just wait for GTX 980 8GB version? I was told that the 8GB version is not worth the extra money. Keep in mind that this rig is supposed run 5760x1080 res in the future also, with highish settings and above 40fps. Any suggestions ? 4gb should be enough for 5760*1080 for a few years... at least 2-3 but AMD is rumored to release the 380x in february 2015. So if you have a few months time the 980 might drop in price by a lot. |
