I felt this was noteworthy enough to post, I personally would be interested what other reviews say about the two new boards but here is tomshardware review. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/geforce-gtx-460-gf104-fermi,review-31944.html In short, its cheaper then the 465, runs cooler, quieter, less power, and performs about on the same level and also is capable of bitstreaming, although drivers don't support it yet. Well seeing as SLI seems to scale better than crossfire, and it is a requirement for the triple displays to have at least 2 cards in SLI, I think it will be very fast. I have steared clear of nVidia for a while personally, didn't like their drivers, my last card of theirs was a 6800GT (BFG), didn't have any problems with it, but I have been pro ATi for a while now. The 6000 series on the horizon makes me a little tentitive to purchase anything, but it sounds like it will mearly be a respin of the current 5000 architecture, hopefully more sucessfully than the X1900 > X2900 was hehe. I notice the GTX 460 HDMI spec is 1.4, with all the other benefits of the DTS-HD etc, and deep colour etc etc. I think this card has just taken over my wish-list spot over a 5770. I just want to ask, how does the HDMI out work? I have 1080p50 footage from my camera, and want to output 1080p50 to a screen, the 50 > 60Hz conversion isn't so bad, like playing 24p content at 25p, bad enough. Is it very flexible with regards of how I can get it to talk to a screen? |

I'm *this* close to buying 2 GTX 460 1GBs as the performance in SLI from initial benchmarks seems fantastic for the price. Hmmmm, how much do I really need money? |

I must admit I am a little tempted to, but two things I need first, one, is it faster then the GTX295 in none DX11 games, and two, are EVGA doing a watercool version (I put my current two GTX295 on water cooling a few weeks ago and swapping them out with a none water cooled card is a large waste of the money I spent on it.) |

In SLI it does seem to be faster ... http://www.anandtech.com/show/3809/nvidias-geforce-gtx-460-the-200-king/6 |

Test doesn't compare with GTX295 in Quad SLI though, but by the looks of it a single GTX295 out paces the single GTX460 by a fair way so it looks like a fair drop in power if I swapped. |
