Quick question, will a 8800GTX and a 7900GTX (both evga) work together?

I don't want SLI, but just to use more than two monitors on?

Help

Shouldn't be a problem, especially since they use the same driver .exe, right?

If using XP or Windows 7, you can use them even if they each require a different driver. With Vista, they need to use the same driver.

So, yeah, they'll work in the same system. ;)

Latest Windows 7 drivers support my old 7900GTO. I know this 'cause I just installed Win 7 on a 7900GTO system. :)

Indeed. SLI is not required in a multi-card setup - it's just an option if the cards are identical. ;)
