Post subject:  Should I move to a Cordless Mouse?

I have the USB dongle on the back of my chassi.

See link for picture

I really like the mouse. A bit small but i like it. Although it works extremely bad. I hope it is the signal since I can fix it with an extension cord(hopefully). Been to lazy to try it out. I have tried the mouse on my desk surface, qpad xxl, Steelpad 5L, XtracPads Hybrid, corepad magna(yea I know laser don't work well on glass but I wanted to try it on the ones I had) and other random stuff I had at home but I can't really use the mouse because it jumps/stop moving to much. So I switched back to my MX518 due to heavy laziness :). But I tried the software and messed around with the mouse and I will try extension cord and whatever to make it work. I'll have to get back to you on that.

Yeah I'm tellin yer it's signal interference not the laser of the mouse. So all you gotta do it find somewhere where there is no interference.

Mine Wakes up INSTANTLY, no lag at all no wait time. So it powers down, as soon as I move it, power is on and the pointer has already moved. MY GOD IT READS MY MIND!!!!!

I hope it doesn't know what I did last week...

Sounds great JohnnyWakko. I hope I can get rid of the interference.

This is a family friendly forum, I cannot extrapolate (not sure if that word fits in the sentence.)

I suggest anything by func:

http://func.net

I got a Func Archetype 1030 and it is awesome . . . now that I know which side I like more (smooth side for me) I will be getting a one-sided only mousepad in the future when my current one wears out, since they are bigger and so on.

An update.

I used an extension cable and placed the USB dongle on my desk close to the MX Revolution and it worked great. I only had time to try it in the desktop.
Hard to believe the interference was that bad when they were so close.

Cheers JohnnyWakko.

Sure its practically wired (having the reciever on a dongle almost touching)

But it still isnt wired so you dont have to deal with a wire getting in the way and pulling on your mouse when it runs out of cord or gets stuck :P
