Hey guys,

I'm struggling to decide on a case for my new pc components. Have looked on the nVidia website for "SLI certified" cases to suit the 2 GTX260s I'll be running, but they only have these two choices:

Cooler Master Cosmos-S (RC1100)
Thermaltake Armor+ ESA VH6001BWS

The first one is $295 Aus and the second is not available in Australia.

Can anyone recommend me any other cases that might be suitable?

Thanks, Paul.

ANY mid or full tower case.

Antec 900/1200 and p182 are good choices.

I've got a Cooler Master 690 and i've been happy with it. 120mm fans to the side and below the video cards if you're worried about SLI not getting enough air.

Yeah, fitting them in the first place and then getting enough air around them are my main concerns.

Just slightly off topic where do you buy your parts?

I'llbe able to source most of my stuff from either MSY or Umart.

ANY mid or full tower case.
And compatible products are not limited to "SLI certified" aka "I paid for the nvidia logo" products ;)

Yeah I know, but I figured with the cases it may just have been a case of being able to physically fit 2 GTX 260s or 280s in SLI with fans etc etc.

At this stage I'm leaning towards the Antec 1200, what case do you use Scavv for your 2/260s?

That's right, I didn't put it in my sig
I'm using a Cooler Master Stacker 830. Lots of space, great airflow, and wheels ! :D
Having up to 4 fans on the side panel, directly blowing towards the graphics cards (and nb/sb) is a neat feature for nforce/SLI. Then again, as long as you can fit the 10.5-inch long cards in, any case "works".

Edit : Never saw the 1200 in action, but I owned an Antec 900 and it was great - except the "upside-down PSU" design, so I cut a hole in the bottom and mounted the PSU "properly". It's now my cousin's property and houses fanless 7950 GTs in SLI. Silent & classy rig ;)

You're supposed to mount the PSU upside down. Then it draws air out from under the video card. Only problem with that method is that dust can settle in the PSU so its always good to use proper dust filtering. Panty hos over every hole in the case works well for me :)
