Hey guys and girls! I thought I was a bit of a "know it all", knew which screen/ what I was best doing at more or less any size or price point, when it came to computer hardware and peripherals. However! My GF uses a 12 year old CRT, it's good good image quality, but it's just massive, it isn't very power efficient etc etc... So we want to grab her a LCD. Doesn't need to be fantastic quality in terms of colour accuracy, something that is 22 or 24" I would say, it also has to be available in Sweden. Resolution isn't a problem, we don't hardcore game, or demand 60 FPS, only gaming she does is WoW, and it's going to be run from a 512MB 4670 ATi card, with DVI output (but a screen with VGA, DP, DVI, HDMI, Component etc wouldn't be out of the question). Have just seem the W2253TQ LG screen. Anyone use it? Got anything to say about it? EDIT: IGNORE THIS BIT>>>>>> Or... On a slightly different line... She said she would be happy with the NEC screen I have, so maybe it is better if I upgrade. I always dreamed of a good 30" Panel, sadly it seems like anything that has internal scalers (read as not the 3007) has sometimes horrible input lag. I would want something to be nearly perfect tbh, I wouldn't personally settle for anything less than an IPS along the lines of a U2410 or equal (although, seems that has input lag too...) Something that is "equal" to this NEC I have but bigger, would be acceptable, or something with less input lag. Again, I have FPS issues with such an old card (X1900XTX), but this will be upgraded soon (been saying that for a year lol....) to a 5770 or better (yep I'm dreaming of a day they will be in stock.) <<< START READING AGAIN Some help/ advice would be nice!!!! Thanks! EDIT: EDITED TITLE TO REFLECT NEW CONTENT |
