So just an annoying problem. I avoid turning off my computer to not have to unplug the graphics card and replug it wait a few seconds to turn it back on. Not really sure of the problem, maybe some of you have heard of this before or had it, so any help would be great!

Does it happen in more then one PCIe slot?
This would tell you if it is just a slot issue.

Can you turn off then turn right back on?
Or does it not work after a cool down period?
If it needs a cool down time it is probably a bad connector pin, it is heating up and moving when coollign down causing a connection issuie, once removed and re instered it is fine.

It doesn't work on a cooldown. I haven't checked out pins, guess I can do that when I have it turned off next ime.

I had this happen when I was using an aftermarket heatsink. (this was 9800Pro days) the card weighed to much for the slot so it would kind of fall away from the connection on the slot. are you using any aftermarket hardware?
