Hey guys, I'm currently running 2 x Radeon HD 4870 1GB video cards and I'm going to use my tax return to jump up to a multi-monitor setup. Now both these cards have dual dvi connections, so I shouldn't have any problems hooking up 3 monitors to the my system, correct? Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide. -Shawn |

That's not the case, only HD5000 and above cards are Eyefinity capable, also to use Eyefinity all 3 monitors have to be connected to one card, and crossfire disables the outputs on the second card anyway. Have a look at the FAQs in the top menu bar for some general information on AMD Eyefinity and Nvidia Surround :) |

Well, that's a bit of let down. I guess I need to upgrade my video cards as well. Oh darn. :) |
