Buyer paralysis. A friend mentioned that this forum might be able to help me make a decision on a new monitor.

I have a 6GB GTX 1060, and may upgrade this in the future.
I primarily want the monitor to increase productivity (coding and design) and reduce need for 2 monitors. But also dabble with gaming.

Ultrawide 21:9
1440p
Budget: $1000 - $1400 AUD
Ideally better than 60Hz for my budget
34" or larger

AOC Agon Curved Ultrawide 34" – $1139 @ MWave
Acer X34P 34" - $1200 @ Harvey Norman
AW3418DW 34" - $1575 @ Dell, bit out of my price range.

Any advice?

If you need it as Replacement for two Monitors, why not look into the 32:9 ?
like the Samsung C49HG90 or the Dell UltraSharp U4919DW
