I'm working on a all encompasing app rather than many single version trainer like builds... you'll have to wait till it is ready :(

Has anyone tested a larger 16x9 compliant resolution like 5760 x 3240 on a 3x3 monitor setup?

Just curious if this would work.

Why is that retarded? A 3x3 setup has the same aspect as a single monitor so you'd see the same amount as a single monitor as opposed to 3x1.

It's retarded because they are dumb enough to lock the visibility based on an aspect ratio. 3 screens of visibility is an "unfair advantage", but 9 screens... that is working as intended.

5760 x 3240 is a crazy amount of visibility. You could probably see the entire map at that res.
"Will there be any multi monitor support? - SC2Pod

StarCraft II will support widescreen but not multi-monitor. Widescreen is definitely becoming more of an industry standard, but multi-monitor support for StarCraft II may be too great of a tactical advantage over other players without more than one monitor."

Would be nice though if they did something like a big minimap on the left screen, the centre screen remains the same, and then on the right screen things like apm, resource collection rate, probe count, army value, etc.
They have it in a keyboard, so why not on an extra screen? :)

I don't understand why their design decision was retarded. I don't see why seeing more based on total pixels is a good thing. There's a reason they did it based on aspect considering everyone runs on different resolutions and for such a competitive game that'd be ridiculous to balance around. Also, if you've ever used the editor and its camera zoom functions, performance rapidly degrades the further out you zoom. 9 screens is working as intended because it's the same aspect as a single monitor... so I don't see what the problem is.

By the way, I made a thread on the SC2 community forum to ask for eyefinity support, so maybe if more people would also react on that one, Blizzard might do something.

But of course, knowing Blizzard, that's just a vague hope :P
