Enemy Territory - Quake Wars ... a game for 2006 and it looks awesome !
There's a widescreen ratio E3 movie out ...
It says that the entire movie is from in game footage ... lets hope this a sign that it will support widescreen ...
Get the movie here ... http://www.3dgamers.com/games/enemyterritoryqw/downloads/

Here is a few screenshots from the movie ...

Two thumbs up for this one, Paddy. :D

Thanks for the links. I think this is one of the few shooters that I'm genuinely anticipating. From what they've said, it looks to be shaping up nicely.

I heard somewhere that Strogg medics will be able to plant "eggs" of somesort into dead marines, in order to allow their teamates to respawn closer to objectives. Insane

That's a pretty cool feature that would help to make the game individual, rather than just a clone of lots of other online shooters. ;)

This looks pretty good... :)

Yeah, there's one game I may actually consider buying, in contrast to your usual rubbish that somehow reaches the shelves.

Will it run decently on my rig though, or will I need an upgrade ?

Whow that does look amazing!

Is it still using the Doom 3 engine? The outdoor scenes look a LOT better than they did in Q4!

Yeah, this one looks like a winner. id's answer to Battlefield 2. Hopefully it will be less buggy than BF2.

It kinda reminds me a bit of Planetside, only better, and probably with longer lasting appeal 8)
