I just built a new PC and I was trying to reinstall Star Wars Republic Commando and play it using the system.ini tweak. On my previous computer I got it to work with no problems. Now when I try to run the game it will go through the load screen, then before the game comes on it locks up and I have to reboot. I have 8800GTXs SLI'd so could SLI be the problem?

I believe this is a problem with some of if not all the newer drivers ...
From the Release Notes ... of the latest drivers ... 158.22 ...

NVIDIA Issues—Single GPU

• Star Wars: Republic Commando: Application crashes when starting a
new game.[254010]



Although it says Single GPU ... I think it must be happening in SLi too ... :roll:

I haven't installed that one yet. I wonder if that problem carried over from other drivers?
