Comparison screenshots:

BEFORE PATCH 1.50
4:3 - CORRECT FOV AND HUD

16:10 - WRONG FOV AND HUD

AFTER PATCH 1.50
16:10 - CORRECT FOV BUT WRONG HUD

__________

*** BEFORE PATCH 1.50 with WIDESCREEN FIXER (that doesn't work anymore) BOTH FOV & HUD COULD BE FIXED ***

One wonders the point of finally enabling widescreen support when it is so horribly Vert- with a stretched HUD.

Well, as the HUD is usually a 2D overlay, it doesn't surprise me that much that it's stretched...

Couldn't care less about the HUD, I'm just very happy that I don't need to use WidescreenFixer any more :D

The first and third shots don't match up. Look at the crosshairs - the machinegun is aiming lower in the third shot than it is in the other two, which makes it hard to verify the FOV is correct. Could you take another pair of shots? They can be both from 1.50.

Here are my personal shots. I try to match it up as close as I can. Edit if needed. I don't usually post full-sized images on here. :o

1024x768

1280x1024

1680x1050

I tried to scale the smaller images up as accurately as I can to 1050 height while maintaining the image's aspect ratio. Here's the result:

Thanks! Based on those shots, 4:3 provides baseline FOV, 16:10 is hor +, and 5:4 is vert +.

Any takers for a DR?
