I don't have the game yet ... BUT ...
A friend of mine tested this for me and it works but he does not have TripleHead so he only tested it on a 16:9 screen.
I have no idea how the HUD or the weapon will be affected but I suspect the view of the weapon and the HUD will not change.

Go to my documentsgamesborderlandswillowgame

Open willowinput.ini with NotePad ...
Find the section titled ...

[WillowGame.WillowPlayerInput]

For 3 x 16:10 (5040x1050) ... add this to the bottom of that section ...

Bindings=(Name="F11",Command="FOV 142",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)

In the game press F11 to change the FOV to the new value ... :D

Default FOV

FOV 110

FOV 142

unforunately this does not work, only for this game. other UE3 games work when done this way.

i think gearbox intentionally protected this editing since there is a competitive edge with higher fov (debateble)

also i noticed there is a proof of this also.

4:3 is hor- compared to 16:10 or 16:9.

anything over 16:9 will cause vert-.

hence they made this game to have the max fov at 16:9

NVM: i put the line under the ENgine section, it works now, thanks!

Looks to me the fix with the bindings will give you the ingame view needed but it wont fix the horrible vert - zoom for the hud and weapons.

I'll give it a go here soon as my game gets done decrypting on steam.

So next goal is to reduce or zoom out on menu and ui size if possible and it should be pretty much 100% working. This game is going to be my new addiction so I hope we get it working.

As far as I am aware this has not been done for any UE3 based game ... unless the game devs sorted it.
Unfortunately the ScaleHUDX=0.333333 command doesn't seem to work in UE3 games and the bSmallWeapons command (if it works) will just make the weapons a bit smaller rather than change the view of them.

Now that you have it working is there any chance of a screenshot with the FOV changed in TripleHead ?
