I've been playing Medal of Honor and the restrictive FOV in the single player game is just making me feel ill beyond belief. I know this is a persistent problem in the Unreal 3 engine, but I was wondering if the experts here on WSGF know of any possible fixes (including 3rd party applications) to force the FOV to something less restrictive.

Thanks.

it's really annoying. i often lose my team just because my FOV is so low. it's like playing with a magnifying glass...sickening. will they ever learn this? i dont get it.

agreed... regular unreal 3 fix does not work.. i think they encrypted the ini files so you cannot tamper them.

I think I figured it out:

Go to C:Program FilesElectronic ArtsMedal of HonorEngineConfig
Open BaseEngine.ini it with notepad, search for [SystemSettings]
Make a new line under that heading and paste FOVAngle=90.000000 (or whatever value you chose)
Save the file. My graphics setting were set really low after I made this change, so you'll just have to change them back once you're in-game.

:)

If your settings reset after changing the file it may mean it is just being rewritten by the game with a default version.

These type of fixes only generally work for me when you change it where your save file is (usually somewhere in the users folder).

Sick fov, again.

Why do developers insist on doing this? makes no sense. It's as simple as letting you change it.

But well, let's hope somebody comes up with a solution cuz I tried modifying some values but nothing works.
