HUD is 16:9 anamorphic and obstructs view in narrower aspects.
Menus are 16:9 anamorphic.
Story cut-scenes are 16:9 anamorphic.
Sniper scope and binoculars: black outline is squished in aspect ratios lower than 16:9.

FOV trick:
Capture Mode (Video) allows for custom camera FOV with many restrictions (value reset on camera change, can't use binocs/sniper rifle, HUD is hidden...).

Ultra/Super-Wide (21:9/32:9) Specific Solution & Issues
