AMD Releases Catalyst 10.1 Driver Update

AMD has released the the AMD Catalyst 10.1 update. Below are the updates relevant to Eyefinity gamers:

Intermediate Resolutions - The initial implementation of Eyefinity only allowed for three resolutions: a 3x800x600 "Safe Mode", a 3x1280x1024 "Intermediate Mode" and your native resolution. The major drawback to this is that some games were unplayable (or only playable at drastically reduces quality settings) on panels with native resolutions of 3x1920x1200. Prior to this feature release, those users simply could not play those games, as 3x1280x1024 is not the proper aspect for widescreen displays. In this example, the improved intermediates now found in the driver allow for 3x1680x1050 on a 3x1920x1200 Eyefinity group.
