Pretty much what the topic says :)

It's just not playable with the bars so far apart :/

Well, first of all, a screenshot might help. Second of all, Delph has a whole thread already going for his HUD tool, and this probably belongs there. As for the bars, I'm not sure what you're talking about... maybe the bezels? I'm sure Delph can help sort out the issue if you toss a screenshot and help explain the problem a little better.

I beleive WaveZtream may be refering to the health bars for each of the players?
If that is the case, then there are 2 threads and 1 tool that can help you already

EDIT: on 2nd thought, if you ment L4D1 then the links/information above does apply, but you may want this thread also...

the 5040x1050 is a 3x 16:10 setup, so this should also work for your 5760x1200 3x 16:10 setup.

HAHA. I didn't realize he meant that. I thought he was saying he was already using the centered HUD and was having problems with it. If you're asking for a centered HUD, yeah, there's sort of a tool already in place for that.

Not touched L4D1 for a while... however you may need to do a hex edit on the .vpk file...

b) Last but not least, for these edited files to work you will need to either replace the file “SteamSteamAppscommonleft 4 deadleft4deadpak01_dir.vpk” with a pre patched one found here.
OR you will need to open it in a HEX editor, search for this string “hudlayout” and change it to “mudlayout”, save the .vpk and then you should be done.
