Hi together,

I'm successfully using the digital tripleheadtogo from my PC. Now I would like use all 3 monitors from my Laptop, too, disconnecting the dvi and connecting the VGA output of my laptop. I can only display 2 monitors (unfortunately the most left and the most right) even with latest matrox firmware, drivers, etc..
Can it be this is a bug at Matrox? Matrox quick setup detects and display all 3 monitors. If I adjust this mode it wants to make a restart, and comes back with error during applying the new settings.
Thank you in advance!!

Try applying the new resolution from the desktop. For some reason, Powerdesk sometimes has a hard time in changing resolution. Also, if you have two monitors active and they are on opposite screens, use the swap monitor (or swap screen) option in powerdesk.

May I assume you are using 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 monitors? This is the only real reason it wouldn't choose to use a TH resolution.

May also depends on the laptop GPU, it may not have enough RAM to support the resolution?

It's a Nvidia Quadro FX570M.
total 1407 MB RAM, video dedicated memory 128 MB, shared system memory 1279 MB, that should be enough if calculated it right. What do you think! :nudgenudge

Please read the thread more detailed: I'm talking of VGA output instead of DVI! DVI is only available using docking station which I don't have at home.
