Hi

Well after I've read most of the threads in here, I have to make a tread my self, because nothing have helped :(

I bought this TH2G of a friend a couple of days ago, the first time I connected it, it was being recognized as it should by windows, and I had pictures on all 3 screens.
but I had a problem with the 2 outher screens was turning on and of all the time, so I figured it was a setup matter, so I looked all the options through and I couldn't find anything that would stop the screens from going on and off.
So I tried to play around with older drivers / powerdesk's bout then I lost picture on all 3 screens and haven't been able to get them back on since.
I have tried :

Uninstall all matrox software and reinstall
Uninstall all ATI software and reinstall both newer and older drivers
Uninstall all USB drivers and reinstall
I've tried to firmware update TH2G but the program can't connect to it
I have been following the thing people have been writing in the other treads and nothing has changed

The red light is on all the time.

My pc specs

Asus P6T6 WS Revolution Workstation Mainboard
Intel I7 930 cpu
6 Gb Kingston Hyperx 1600 MHz
Club3D ATI Radeon HD5770OC
520 Watt PSU

Hope you can help me :)

I'm far from an expert on the TH2Go, so I take it the red light being on permanently means that something is wrong. Given that the PC can't seem to detect the TH2Go box to try updating firmware... does it recognise it at all? Or is it completely undetected in Device Manager?

In the device manager it's recognized as a HID interface and not as Matrox Triplehead2Go as it was at first, but in the devices and printers ind the controlpanel it's recognized as Matrox Triplehead2go

And yes the red light is on all the time :(

Red light is the power light, it'll be red while its powered but not connected, it'll turn green when its connected. I would check your usb cable / port, also make sure your connecting a Dual DVI cable to the output.

The Matron TripleHead2Go should appear under monitors in devices manager, not HID.

I've tried all of my 8 USB ports and i'm using the USB cable and dual DVI cable that comes with the triplehead, but I don't know what I shold do.

I did find out that, if I uninstalled the HID that was the triplehead, and then checked for new hardware, it comes with triplehead 2go for about 5 seconds, and then it's a HID again :(

So drivers are installed...

Can you manually force a driver update on the HID device using the TH2Go drivers? (Device Manager -> HID Device -> Properties -> Driver Tab -> Update Driver -> Browse My Computer for Driver Software -> Let me pick from a list...)

Or try a powered USB hub? Maybe it's decided it's not getting enough juice (for whatever reason)...

Nope I can't force it to install other drivers than HID :(

So that triplehead is going in the recycle bin and I have ordered an Active displayport cable instead, but thanks for all your help :)

Welcome. Wasn't much help, though, as the problem isn't fixed. ;)

Weird you can't force-install a driver...
