Some people are saying they are getting lower frame rates on the side monitors with the 680 in surround?

Anyone noticing this?

Any thoughts.

Was about to go with a 4gb 680 when they hit but now thinking about going 7970.

I've not noticed framerates varying from monitor to monitor.

Frankly, I'm not even sure how that would be possible, short of the card losing sync between the Surround-grouped monitors.

Mhmmm Eyefinity/Surround creates one big screen.
It would have to be the Game Engine that realises MultiMonitor setup and calculate 3 single pictures and stick them together.
Thats the only way to get the GPU to calculate different FPS on different Monitors in one And the same Resolution.

The other way would be when the same FPS would be calxulated but somehow are not shown on the Monitor.

How do you realize that there are different FPS? FRAPS and stuff only shows FPS counter for the engine and not per Monitor...
