I'm looking at an eyefinity setup.. I currently have

i7 930
6gb RAM
HD 5870 (1)

I want to run 24" monitors (3)
Will i be able to run three 24 inch monitors with two 5870s ?
I want to be able to run games like BF3/Skyrim when they come out with decent fps on high detailed settings

Please answer my questions.. thanks ! :)

Resolution of the monitors is 1080 I'm assuming?

It should run just fine if you are doing it in crossfire (max settings might be an issue)... but check out the battlefield 3 beta forum for more info on that. Is everything working fine so far on your end? Problems? Etc...

If you are wanting to go Eyefinity, 3 24"s are the best monitors to run.
I'm selling mine at the moment as I don't have the time between uni study and work to game enough anymore.

I have 3 24" HD 1920x1080 ASUS monitors, all hooked to a tripple monitor mount.

Send me a message on ebay or on here if you're interested in anything
- Cheers

BTW: I played the BF3 Beta using eyefinity 5760 x 1080 and it was pretty smooth.
My PC specs are listed on the Ebay page, but I would look into updating GPU.

2500k 4.8ghz
running 120hz 3x1680x1050 screens.5040x1050
with 6870/6850 crossfire.
could not play smooth even at 3840x800 with all low settings.
rush mode works but caspain border the fps drop was immensely bad.
Its playable but I am upgrading to next generation asap when they are out.

I also expect the beta to not be optimized, so its likely that the retail will be much better when drivers and game mature.
u can run it, but it will lack the fps smoothness.
I don't play at 60fps, for me its above 100fps or else they delay is basically game deal breaker.
I played bc2 at 100fps at average.
