I did not buy it through steam. I have tried all the versions. Do I only need Hayden or is there another program used for all WSG that I should get?? I am really new to surround.

You don't need any special program to run games in eyefinity once the monitors have been set up. The only other thing I can think that could help is the 4gb LAA patch. My system crashes to desktop if I don't use it but not immediately. Hayden may be able to shed more light on non steam installs if he has encountered it. I thought you had to activate it through steam.

You need to be specific - where did it come from? Cracked?

If it's a cracked copy then it won't work.

I could add support but it's alot of time for one or two users...

You can do what I did:

Exit Steam.
Go to your Steam installation, common folder, right click on the skyrim folder, right click, go to Previous Versions, select a date before the patch, and click Restore.
Disconnect your internet connection, restart Steam, and play using whatever fix was working for you prior to the 1.3 update.

That's what I am doing, only using my phone for internet until it's fixed heh.

That's sneaky ... kudos on remembering that feature of windows. My hat's off to you sir.

Scals, I purchased retail also but it still installs with Steam and INTo Steam. If it doesn't then.... lets not even go in to that.

Hi guys, long time lurker - first post in this forum. Great community here and since this game came out, this thread is for me rechecked from morning till night time!
This update to 1.3 gave me nothing but CTD, CTD and CTD! Tried so many things: roll back to 1.1 -> CTD, then I tried the folder replacement from a week ago -> CTD, deleted the drivers and installed ATI 11.11c + CCAPS -> CTD...
I was so happy when I saw the UW0.9 from Hayden, so I switched the files back again to version 1.3, started UW0.9 and TESV.exe -> CTD. Oh dear!

The game always crashes, when on the start screen the smoke would appear.
Any ideas?

System is: i7950, 12Gig, 2x5970(+GTX470Physx), 3x Samsung1920x1080, common res. 5992x1080 (Bezel comp),

I have played until this latest patch with a rollback to 1.1 + UW04a +4GBPatch + rename the patched TESV to 'Crysis.exe'.
That worked like charm!

Honestly, the game is worth it - so I just grabbed it on steam. Really want to get this working in surround it makes gaming so much more immersive.

Hayden, thanks a ton as usual for your latest patch, awesome job! You and Heli really need to reach out to Bethesda and see if they'll give you jobs, apparently they need good coders :)

On a related note, has anyone had any problems with the latest patch? I'm noticing some people are now missing their skin textures for their arms, face, etc. While it's nice to see the Phantom Limb make his appearance in Skyrim, it's a bit distracting to see only two eyeballs floating where a head should be.

I'm running 2 x Radeon 6950's in Crossfire with the Catalyst 11.11c drivers.
